Earthing and Grounding
People typically ground/earth  either by laying or having their feet on the earth.  We can also ground submerging ourself in a natural body of water.
When we directly connect our body to the earth we are able to utilise the earh’s natural electric charges to stabilise ourself.
We are able to earth/ground when walking barefoot, laying on the earth, and sleeping on the earth.
Some people use earthing mats whilst sleeping or sitting at a desk for example.
Recent scientific research explores grounding for inflammation, cardiovascular disease, injured muscles, mood and chronic pain.
People have reported improvements when grounding in relation to lowering anxiety and decreasing depressive episodes, lowering blood pressure, reducing insomnia, chronic fatigue and pain.
